Silt Socks
Used as a sediment control technique Silt Socks prevent silt from entering our waterways.
Silt Socks work by filtering water before it leaves your construction site and enters stormwater drains.
Silt Socks can be filled with clean gravel, straw, cane mulch or coarse sand and placed in gutters or around drains.
Silt Socks are excellent for slowing the speed of runoff while still retaining sediment.
The aim is to minimize the silt loss from sites and protect our waterways by reducing the entry of sediment into stormwater systems.
